This "Hope and Determination Heart-Raiser" aims to motivate participants in the fight for American democracy four months before Election Day.
GW faculty and administrators can register for this free public event and participate for any length of time during the 24-hour period. The event will feature teaching, inspiration, and activities focused on civic engagement and voting rights.
The Institute for Common Power describes itself as "an organization committed to catalyzing action through workshops, lectures, courses, and more." They state, "At the Institute for Common Power, we advocate and educate for what should be the most common power in American democracy—the right to vote. We believe that civic engagement and participation are essential for a thriving democracy."
