Call for Proposals: Brady Education Foundation Program Evaluations

The Brady Education Foundation is seeking proposals for program evaluations aimed at closing educational opportunity gaps. Deadline for stage-one proposals is August 1, 2024. The foundation funds research projects and evaluations that could inform funders and public policy on promoting positive outcomes for children up to age 18.

Application Guidelines

The foundation is accepting two types of proposals:

1. Existing Program Evaluation (EPE) proposals: These should focus on evaluating the effectiveness of programs designed to promote positive cognitive and/or achievement outcomes for children from birth through 18 years.

2. Research Project (RP) proposals: These should aim to obtain information on addressing disparities in educational opportunities associated with race, ethnicity, and/or family income.

Secondary aims may include investigating variations in program effects, mechanisms of effectiveness, and cost-benefit analyses.

Stage-one proposals are due August 1, 2024. Selected applicants will be invited to submit stage-two proposals by December 1, 2024. Universities, colleges, and nonprofit research organizations are eligible to apply.
