In continuing its efforts to strengthen and advance Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) across the region, TMA hosted two JEDI-CCE Institutes on Creating a Community-Engaged JEDI-Centered Campus Culture: Action Planning and Assessing Progress in the 2022-2023. Over 110 representatives from 20 colleges and universities came together at Morgan State University and Delaware State University to have conversations and develop institutional action plans around their current work to advance JEDI-CCE on their campus and in their community.
Registration for the Fall 2023 Institute is now OPEN! Campuses are invited to send teams of 4-8 representatives to continue this work at the Fall 2023 JEDI-CCE Institute on Thursday, November 2 at Towson University. The institute will include guest speakers, an engaging workshop on student support in the aftermath of the Supreme Court's decision on affirmative action, and opportunities to network and learn across campuses. Breakfast and lunch will be included.
