Scholarship Opportunity: Morris K. and Stewart L. Udall Scholarship

The Morris K. and Stewart L. Udall Scholarship awards college sophomores and juniors for leadership and public service related to Native American nations or to the environment. Because environmental issues can be approached in a multidisciplinary way, the scholarship is offered to students from a broad range of disciplines. In awarding the scholarships, consideration is given to the student's field of study, career objectives, and the extent to which that individual has the commitment and potential to make a significant contribution to his or her field.

The award will be made on the basis of merit to two groups of students in their sophomore or junior year: those who have outstanding potential, and who study the environment and related fields; and Native American and Alaska Native students who have outstanding potential, and are in the fields related to health care or tribal public policy.

University nomination is required.

GW Nomination Deadline: February 9, 2022.
