Antwan Jones and Greg Squires were featured on WAMU/DCist this week to discuss their new study on the relationship between cardiovascular health and affordable housing.
Gregory Squires, professor of sociology, public policy and public administration, and Antwan Jones, associate professor of sociology, epidemiology, and Africana studies, published new research in September, 2021. The GW professors’ study revealed the link between heart health and inclusionary zoning. In places with inclusionary zoning policies, residents had better cardiovascular health outcomes.
