Save the Date: Sustainable Agriculture Through a Justice Lens

Join American University’s School of International Service (SIS) on Tuesday, October 12th from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm as they host their annual event series, “Global to Local.”

The “Sustainable Agriculture Through a Justice Lens” panel discussion will examine how the issues of race, gender, and socio-economic status intersect with the field of sustainable agriculture.

The panel will be moderated by SIS professor Garrett Graddy-Lovelace and will feature leaders from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN, the Arcadia Center for Sustainable Food and Agriculture, Aranya Agricultural Alternatives, and the Slow Food movement.
