New Affinity Networks Announced: Campus Compact

Find space to ask questions, find answers, strategize together, and receive support in one of the Campus Compact Affinity Networks. Meetings begin this July, register here.

Sustained over time and meeting regularly throughout the year, Campus Compact Affinity Networks is a members-only opportunity (GW is a Campus Compact member) that provides space and structure for faculty, staff, and administrators with similar experiences to discuss issues of mutual interest.

Affinity Networks relevant to GW faculty:

Community Colleges for Democracy
For faculty, staff, and administrators from two-year institutions.

Mid-Career Community Engagement Professionals
For engaged faculty & staff who have been in the field for 8-18 years.

From the announcement:

Affinity networks will convene based on shared interests to form ongoing, sustained collegial networks that will provide space to participate in professional development, network, build partnerships, and share best practices. Each network will be organized separately by co-coordinators. All networks will meet virtually on a quarterly basis, beginning with a kickoff meeting & introduction in July. Check out the Affinity Networks sign-up page for a full schedule.

Participation is limited to Campus Compact members. Participants may register for multiple groups and volunteer to serve as a co-coordinator as part of registration.
