Homelessness & Housing Insecurity at Urban Institutions and in our Communities: Roles. Responsibilities. Solutions.
- Virtual delivery over two-half days: Tuesday, July 27 and Thursday, July 29, 1–5 p.m. ET.
- Free event for CUMU members and their community partners.
- Two tracks:

- The impact of housing insecurity and homelessness on campus communities (students, faculty, staff)
- The role of higher education institutions in combating homelessness in the broader community
- Sessions will address issues of homelessness, eviction rates, housing insecurity, and others through a racial equity lens and will reflect on the intersectionality of race, ability status, and sexual orientation.
- A two-hour follow-up session will be held on August 19 for participants for reflection after bringing their new knowledge and best practices back to their respective roles.

Homelessness Research Action & Collaborative at Portland State University has been named a CUMU research fellow. As part of their scope of work, they are serving as the principal lead and designers for this virtual summit.
