Virtual Events: NCoC Learning Circles – Apr & May

National Conference on Citizenship (NCoC) has added multiple events to their schedule that will cover the most relevant topics regarding community and democracy. See below for a brief description of the schedule. 

The Costs of Political Violence in the United States- Wednesday, April 28th, 2:00-3:00 p.m. ET 

“The health of our democracy requires investment in community-led solutions that combat political violence and mitigate its cost on society.”

Reimagining Civics and History Education in America- Wednesday, May 12th, 2:00-3:00 p.m. ET

“America needs a national resurgence of civics & history education. Join Educating for American Democracy to learn how we can make it happen.”

America Talks: Conversations to Shift from Division to Understanding- Wednesday, May 19th, 2:00-3:00 p.m. ET 

“Communication across difference is critical to move democracy forward. Join us as part of the National Week of Conversations to highlight key strategies and resources for facilitating constructive dialogue across differences.”
