Event: Rock Creek Conservancy; Race and History of DC – March 4

Join the Rock Creek Conservancy and the National Park Service at a virtual discussion of race and history in Washington, D.C. The event will take place on March 4th from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm. Register here.

The event will feature local experts exploring the history of Melvin C. Hazen as a window into the complex legacy of past leaders. The discussion will serve as an opportunity to learn about lesser-known figures in these histories. It will be moderated by Kym Elder, Program Manager of NPS Civil War Defense of Washington
