Title IX Office and Bias Reporting

In seeking to foster a safe, supportive and inclusive environment for all learners, the UHP works closely with its campus partners in the Title IX Office, the Office for Diversity, Equity and Community Engagement, and the Office of Students Rights & Responsibilities. These offices at GW have the authority to investigate and adjudicate student conduct complaints and the expertise and resources to provide appropriate support to those students who have been impacted by misconduct. Any student who has experienced or witnessed misconduct involving another GW student is encouraged to submit an incident report to the Title IX Office, a bias incident report, and/or a student conduct concern. Students can also reach out to any UHP faculty or staff member for support. Note that all UHP faculty and staff are “designated reporters” who are required to promptly report allegations of sexual harassment, sexual assault or stalking to the Title IX Office but that such a report does not obligate a student to speak with the Title IX Office or initiate a formal complaint.
