The very first presentation of Brazilian street art in the US capital opens at Gallery 102 in the Smith Hall of Art with a reception on Thursday, October 9 from 6- 8 PM.
LEGAL: Branco, Gen Duarte, Nick Alive, TIKKA, Vermelho was curated by UHP senior Roxanne Goldberg and will show for four weeks, from October 6 to October 31. Roxanne invites the entire UHP community to join her and the artists, who are being flown into DC from Brazil, for a celebration of community building and social action through collaborative art practices. Justin Schmierer of WRGW’s Heavy Flow and Only the Hits will be DJing the reception, where hors d’oeuvres and light refreshments will be served.
