Teach For America and Teach For All seek outstanding leaders to join our efforts in placing teachers in DC classrooms, supporting our teachers, building our partnerships, and supporting our recruitment campaigns.
Internship Description
- Learn more about Teach For America, our mission, and the broader education landscape
- Gain professional skills and learn about qualities that employers look for
- Develop excellent organizational and time management systems
- Learn more about working at a top non-profit organization
- Work with a manager on an individual project and collaborate with other interns on a group project
- Work actively towards the mission of closing the opportunity gap and eliminating educational inequity
- Potential internship focuses included Latin@ Engagement & Partnerships, Regional Development, Veteran Recruitment, HBCU Recruitment, District & School Partnerships, Teacher Leadership Development, Alumni Affairs, STEM Partnerships
- Interns will set their own hours (5-20 hrs/week) and come into work in the DC office located at the Shaw-Howard U Metro
- Please note that interns will be paired with teams based on skills and interests; some opportunities are paid and some are unpaid
