Come join Microfinancing at GW (and some of your honors friends!) in a conversation with Robert Breen of Kiva Zip, a recently developed program launched by Kiva, that uses crowdfunding to make loans for entrepreneurial ventures in in the US and Kenya. We’ll be discussing microfinance in developed countries, financial empowerment, and how people and organizations can utilize crowd-funding platforms to raise funds for their ventures.
The event is on Wednesday, April 30th, from 6-7PM in Room 403 of the Marvin Center . Cookies, brownies, & coffee will be provided for all who attend!
