Kniternship with an Artist-in-Residence

GW’s artist-in-residence, Sarah O’Halloran, is looking for interns with a passion for knitting or crochet. She needs help making free form sculptures for use in a musical theater production in early April.
The performance is about a world in which everyone’s memories are spun into yarn on Saturn’s rings, and then stored in the form of knitting. For any avid yarnophiles out there, this is a great chance to get academic credit while creating “unique, colorful and whimsical textile art.” And if you’re not the Van Gogh of knitting just yet, don’t worry. O’Halloran will provide materials and guidance on techniques.
