Hey all, The Hollings Center is looking for an unpaid intern in the DC area over the summer. The internship would begin in mid to late May and continue through the summer. Duties
- Assist with preparations for dialogue conferences
- conduct research for grant proposals and conference themes
- monitor current events in the Middle East and Central Asia
- assist with office administrative tasks
- help with updating website and database
- attend DC events on behalf of the Hollings Center
Qualifications
- Strong interest in and knowledge of the Center’s subject matter
- Excellent office skills
- Strong research skills
- Detail-oriented, reliable, self-starter
- Regional language skills a plus, especially Arabic
- Excellent knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and/or WordPress
