About Us

This seminar series is hosted by the International Education program of the Graduate School of Education and Human Development (GSEHD) at the George Washington University. 

GW’s International Education program prepares professionals for the fields of international education, international development, and higher education. It offers a M.A. in International Education and a Ph.D. in Education with a concentration in Comparative and International Education.

The program also houses the GW UNESCO Chair for International Education & Development, which supports research in global citizenship, refugees and migration, and higher education. 

The seminar series is a joint venture funded by the GW University Seminar Program and the GW UNESCO Chair in International Education for Development.
