When submitting an event to the GW Events Calendar, there are a few things to keep in mind to make sure that it ends up on the Elliott School event page and promoted through our platforms.
- Event Host question: In the “Event Host” field of the submission form, type in the GW/Elliott School organization, department, institute, or center that is sponsoring the event. Multiple groups can be selected if your event has several co-hosts. If you don’t find your organization in the options, please reach out to Olivia Burke, Elliott School Web Lead (oburke@gwu.edu), to request adding your group to the list.
- Submit your event by Thursday, close of business, in order to have your event included in Public Affairs’ Monday newsletter which goes out to the Elliott School community.
- Review the University Calendar best practices page for guidance on image use, event descriptions, and event names.
