Our Public Affairs team is responsible for the main community outreach and programming for the Elliott School. Our work encompasses a wide variety of projects, from the messaging on the Elliott School website to photo exhibitions around the building.
Here’s a brief rundown of projects the Public Affairs team handles:
- Hosting high-level events featuring senior cabinet officials and heads of state through our main event series, including the Ambassador’s Forum and Jazz with Dean B
- Organizing the graduation ceremony and celebration in the spring
- Supporting affiliated institutes in diverse ways, including but not limited to: helping with logistics/filmography/photography for an event, fielding branding questions, and offering equipment to rent
- Managing the Elliott School’s digital presence through its website, social media and podcast platforms
- Publishing school reports like the annual State of the School report
- Advising faculty and staff on best practices for messaging, content marketing strategy and more
- Maintaining our two, free event spaces, which are the Lindner Family Commons on the sixth floor and Room 505
