Worldwide Climate Justice Teach-In: DC
On March 30, 2022, live and in-person, over 1,000 Colleges, Universities, High Schools and K-8 schools worldwide participated in a one-day Teach-In on climate solutions and justice in the transition.
The DC area colleges and universities explored topics such as climate conversations, public health, advocacy, and more. Each campus hosted their own speakers for panel sessions on March 30th, with a final livestream panel including all participating universities from 6pm-7pm.
On April 1st, all universities convened at Howard University for the “DC Climate Convergence” to celebrate the diverse voices and experiences that unite us, and hear from several notable keynote speakers, including Climate Justice Advocate Kari Fulton and the Founder of Third Act, Bill McKibben.
