Anne collaborated with The Missing Pink Breast Cancer Alliance, founded by Jasmine Souers, from April to July 2023. She discovered the groundbreaking work encapsulated in More Life Magazine, an invaluable platform curating over 300 resources by tailoring for those affected by breast cancer, especially marginalized individuals.
Anne discovered the alliance through Catchafire.org and aimed to centralize essential resources for breast cancer patients, emphasizing the unique challenges faced by black women. Anne’s experience underscores the importance of making vital resources readily available and suggests that similar principles could be applied to optimize accessibility in our lab’s work.
