The MySHARE project is a pilot trial of HPV self-sampling as a remote intervention to promote cervical cancer screening among women living with HIV.
Studying the feasibility and effectiveness of mail-based HPV self-sampling is paramount to reducing cervical cancer disparities.
- Women living with HIV (WLHIV) simultaneously have higher risk of cervical cancer and lower cervical cancer screening rates, making them particularly vulnerable to developing cervical cancer28, 29, 30
- There are currently no studies on using mail-based HPV self-sampling to promote cervical cancer prevention behavior among WLHIV.
Enrollment – We are currently recruiting research participants (see flyer below). To see if you are eligible, click here.
