Overview
E-cigarette use, or vaping, has become an increasingly prominent public health concern globally and domestically.
While electronic nicotine delivery systems (ENDS) may deliver fewer harmful chemicals than cigarettes and can facilitate harm reduction in smokers, they also represent significant health risks, including addiction in the nicotine-naïve (e.g., young adults (YAs)).
The purpose of this study is to investigate young adult attitudes and behaviors towards vaping to better inform cessation strategies. We also address ENDS use with respect to young adult exposure to vaping culture exposure and vape shop practices and survival.
