I am originally from Queens, New York but have come to love the living in the Washington, DC area. My husband (who is also a GW professor) and I have two sons (one in high school and the other in middle school), two frisky cats named Pearl Gray and Chai. When I have spare time, I enjoy cooking and feeding the people in my life that I care about, trying new restaurants, home renovation/decorating, entertaining/party planning, reading non-academic books, traveling, and exploring nature.
