Welcome to the website of the Cahill Research Group within the Department of Chemistry at The George Washington University. We are broadly interested in materials chemistry, including hydrothermal syntheses and crystallographic and spectroscopic analyses of f-element compounds. We also maintain a keen interest in the intersection of science and technology policy, specifically with respect to nuclear energy, security, forensics, non-proliferation and arms control.
