Education

I received my PhD in applied mathematics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 1985. Thesis: An Analysis of a System of Nonlinear PartialDifferential Equations Modeling the Nonaxisymmetric Buckling of an Elastic Spherical Shell under the direction of Professor George Knightly. I received a masters in applied mathematics from Purdue University in 1977 and a bachelor of science from Gannon University in 1975
