My name is Yanxiang Zhao (see my CV). I am a Ph.D. from Department of Mathematics of the Pennsylvania State University under supervision of Fu Foundation Professor Qiang Du.
I am currently an associate professor of Mathematics at the George Washington University.
My research focuses on mathematical biology and computational mathematics. I have been working on the phase field or diffuse interface approach for the modeling and simulations of some interfacial problems. I am currently working on phase field based variational implicit-solvent models for biomolecular interactions. Please see my publication page for the details.
