During the spring of 2009 Arjan Qefalia was a visiting research scholar at The George Washington University, affiliated with the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. His stay in the USA was supported by the Junior Faculty Development Program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. His mentor at The George Washington University was Professor Stuart A. Umpleby.
He has a master’s degree from the University of Tirana. His interests include total quality management, business management, supply chain management, and strategies of successful multinational companies. He is the author of a study on the strategy of the University of Tirana re the Bologna Statement.
