In the 2003-2004 academic year Larissa Zolotareva was a Fulbright Scholar at The George Washington University
During the 1998-1999 academic year she was a visiting research professor at The George Washington University, affiliated with the Research Program in Social and Organizational Learning. Her stay in the USA was supported by the Junior Faculty Development Program, which is funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. Her mentor at GWU was Professor Christine Melonie. Larissa Zolotareva graduated from Yakutsk University in 1989 with a Diploma in English. She received her kandidatskaya degree in English from a post-graduate course taken at Yakutsk before she came to the United States. Ms. Zolotareva has worked with Christine Meloni at GWU on using e-mail in teaching English as a Foreign Language.
