Summer often means an influx of visiting students and volunteers in our laboratories. SMHS is committed to providing a safe and healthy laboratory environment for all members of the campus community and visitors.
All laboratory visitors MUST complete laboratory safety training courses, including the General Laboratory Safety Training Schedule offered by Health & Emergency Management Services and Biosafety/Bloodborne Pathogen Training offered by the Office of Laboratory Safety.
Failure to complete laboratory safety training courses will result in disabling card entry.
The Research Release and Facility Access form, along with mandatory laboratory safety training, must be completed before a visitor can access an SMHS laboratory.
