Welcome to Research Matters, the research blog of the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at The George Washington University. The blog is designed to serve as a resource for finding funding opportunities, research collaborators, and information on current research and grants issues. Future posts from campus leaders will include subjects such as grant writing, institutional infrastructure, and research resources.
All School of Medicine and Health Sciences researchers with NIH and foundation funding and those faculty who provided a research description in their annual reports were automatically included. New funding alerts related to your research area will posted on a continuing basis. To have these announcements sent directly to your email, please email gwsmhsresearch@gwu.edu with the subject line “Subscribe- <Your theme here>”, with the theme(s) you would like funding announcements for. Finally, in Researcher Profiles, you will find a Faculty Researcher Database that you can search to find new collaborators. Future blog posts will outline the best ways to utilize this tool.
