For the 21st year, the Elliott School of International Affairs is organizing our Employer Site Visit Program. We would be honored if your organization would participate as one of the hosts in either Washington, D.C., Seattle, or New York City.
Designed as an informational program to help familiarize Masters level students with both your organization and the industry in general, site visits also offer students a chance to learn about internship or employment opportunities within your organization. Hosting a site visit requires a commitment from one to two hours and can include 10 - 20 students.
This opportunity coordinates more than 60 organizations, over 250 graduate students, and represents more than 20 global industries. Each year students comment about how useful the site visits have been as they make their academic and professional choices for the future.
There is no cost to participate. Visits typically consist of a 60-90 minute session providing an overview of your organization, discussing industry trends, and relevant skills and experiences needed to get into the field. If possible, students would welcome the opportunity to hear from any colleagues who are also Elliott School or George Washington University alumni during the session as well.
