Susan Anenberg, Professor

Susan researches connections between air pollution, climate change, public health, and environmental policy, in the U.S. and globally. She is also the Director of the GWU Climate and Health Institute and Chair of the Environmental and Occupational Health department. She received her PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Erin Campbell, Graduate Research Assistant

Erin is a Global Environmental Health MPH student and is working on understanding the health and equity implications of climate policy.

Lulu Chen, Postdoctoral Research Scientist

Lulu is using chemical transport model and satellite remote sensing to understand the air pollution injustice. She earned her PhD in Atmospheric Physics and Atmospheric Environmental from Peking University.

Jordi is supporting the group's climate and health initiatives.

Dan Goldberg, Research Assistant Professor

Dan uses satellite remote sensing and chemical transport modeling to estimate air pollution levels within cities. He earned his PhD in Atmospheric & Oceanic Science at the University of Maryland and was a Post-doctoral Scholar at Argonne National Laboratory.

Daniel is modeling air quality in urban areas. He earned his PhD in Climate and Space Sciences and Engineering from the University of Michigan.

Gaige Kerr, Research Assistant Professor

Gaige is modeling future health impacts from wildfire smoke. He is also using satellite remote sensing to understand and track air pollution injustice across the U.S. He earned his PhD in Earth and Planetary Sciences from Johns Hopkins University.

Greta is estimating the health impacts of green space in cities worldwide.

Omar Nawaz, Postdoctoral Research Scientist

Omar received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering from University of Colorado - Boulder. He is using satellite data and chemical transport models to understand sources of air pollution in urban areas.
