I am a sixth-year graduate student in the Clinical Psychology PhD program working with Dr. Rohrbeck. I’m from Bethesda, MD (right outside DC) and attended Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2012. After college, I worked in the Department of Psychiatry at Georgetown University for three years, assisting in research related to trauma and behavioral medicine. My research interests surround the roles that temperamental and personality factors play in the development of anxiety symptoms in emerging adults. In my dissertation, I am examining factors that differentially predict the development of fear and anxiety symptoms in that age group. I have also taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Statistics and Developmental Psychology and I am completing my internship at American University’s Counseling Center.
