I am currently an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at The George Washington University (GWU), Washington DC, USA. In 2017, I received my Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas A&M University, College Station, TX, USA, advised by Prof. Mladen Kezunovic. Prior to joining the Texas A&M University in 2012, I was a research assistant in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran advised by Prof. Mahmud Fotuhi-Firuzabad, under supervisory of whom I fulfilled my M.Sc. degree in 2011.
I am currently serving as the Director of the GW SmartGrid Laboratory at the GW Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering.
