In addition to co-founding and directing Promising Futures, Dr. Ward, Knapp Fellow ‘17, teaches courses in GW's School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS), and serves as a Nashman Affiliate Faulty member and as the chair of the Black Lives Matter Faculty Learning Community. Dr. Ward also serves on the D.C. Mayor’s Commission on Health Equity and, in 2019, was named as one of the 40 Under 40 Leaders in Health Awards.
