Thank you for joining us for GW’s Fall 2019 Symposium!

Thank you to students, faculty, and community partners who shared their experiences, disseminated their findings, and learned about other campus/community initiatives.  

At lunch, we heard Alexander Justice Moore, DC Central Kitchen’s Chief Development Officer, DC Central KitchenOpens, and author of, The Food Fighters: DC Central Kitchen’s First Twenty-Five Years on the Front Lines of Hunger and Poverty(2014). Our lunch was also catered by DC Central Kitchen! From 1:30-2:30pm there were Concurrent Reflection Sessions: (I will include a picture from each session/showcase accordingly below it in blog post)

Creatively Capturing the Complexities of Communities: Video Screening and Discussion

  • Featuring student work from SMPA 4180: Online Journalism Workshop
