It is common to teach (and do) biostatistics using pencil and paper or to use computer languages such as Python and R. So much of our data is captured using a spreadsheet, though. Wouldn't it be nice if we could use spreadsheet software to learn (and do) biostatistics then?
Indeed we can. Microsoft Excel® is a great tool to use for biostatistical analysis. Although it is not as powerful as a computer language, it is still a good tool to use when analyzing data and also to use as you learn biostatistics.
