Many indices list Python as the World’s number 1 computer language. Python is a multi-purpose language that has found its biggest success in Data Science and Artificial Intelligence. This is especially true in the new word of Generative Artificial Intelligence (GAI). GAI is great at writing code. It is arguably best at writing Python code. A model such as GitHub Copilot is a pair-programming language that writes code based on you prompts.
As a University students you can get GitHub Copilot for free. In the video lectures below, I show you how you can set up Python on your own system and how to install Visual Studio Code, a program that you use to write Python code. I also show you how to create a GitHub account, and how to get GitHub Copilot.
