Dr. Meisel is thrilled to have joined the Department of Chemistry at The George Washington University in August of 2020. Joe received BS Biochemistry and BS Human Biology degrees from Indiana University and MS and PhD degrees in Organic Chemistry from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. Joe joins GW from an NIH postdoctoral fellowship with New York University President and Professor of Chemistry Andrew Hamilton.
