The Fall season is upon us so let’s enjoy these healthy and fun festivities from Healthy Living @ Himmelfarb’s October Study Break Guide.

The Georgetown BID is hosting their 18th annual Georgetown French Market October 1-3, 2021. This popular Parisian-inspired open-air market will feature sidewalk sales and specials from more than 25 locally-owned boutiques, cafés, and galleries along Wisconsin Avenue from O St to Reservoir Rd. All attendees are encouraged to wear masks throughout the French Market. To ensure a more comfortable pedestrian experience and allow for increased social distancing, the sidewalks along Book Hill will be temporarily widened  - an extension of our Georgetown Decks pilot program - to ensure everyone has enough room to comfortably enjoy the French Market.

Mindful Monday: Meditation Session

Meditation is like a reset for your mind and body. With regular practice, you can cultivate a sense of inner peace and balance. In this session, you will learn a handful of modern and ancient practices that can settle the nervous system and train the brain to be more focused, engaged, and less reactive. This meditation session will be led by Nina Paul of the GW Exercise & Nutrition Sciences department.

GW: Boo Bash
GW’s Annual Halloween Party

GW Late Night is back with Boo Bash, our annual Halloween party! Join us for food, games, prizes, and all things Halloween. GW Late Night is a series that provides space for students to have fun and socialize, and take a break from academics, without the temptation or risks involved with drinking alcohol. This event will be held in-person. Students must register to attend. Event details will be provided on the day of the event to those who register via Engage. If inclement weather occurs, the event will be moved indoors and event protocols will align with DC COVID-19 guidelines.
