GW-IBS Students Participate in the Annual CCAS Research Showcase 2023

On April 11th, 2023, George Washington University Integrated Biomedical Sciences (GW-IBS) Ph.D. students participated in the Columbian College of Arts and Sciences (CCAS) Research Showcase. The event was held in the Student Center with multiple participating CCAS programs. The GW-IBS program separately judged IBS student posters for cash prizes.

Students Natalie Howard (Bosque Lab), Josh Ghofrani (Fernandes Lab), Emily Williams (Shibata Lab), and Samantha Dow (Young Lab) received GW-IBS awards of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th, respectively, for their posters. Veronica Balick (Shook Lab) and Shatha Salameh (Posnack Lab) received GW-IBS pre-candidacy honorable mentions for their work.
