On Thursday April 25th, George Washington University Integrated Biomedical Sciences (GW-IBS) Ph.D. students participated in the GW School of Medicine and Health Sciences (SMHS) Research Showcase. The event was held in the Student Center and featured other SMHS programs, including the health sciences students, medical students, and medical residents. The IBS program faculty separately judged IBS student posters and chose winners for cash prizes. The results were as follows:
1st Place [tie] – Veronica Amuso (Shook lab) and Hannah Smith (Marvar lab)
3rd Place – Brita Ostermeier (Maggirwar lab)
4th Place – Sarah Kleb (Shook lab)
5th Place – Claudia Melo (Bosque lab)
6th Place – Sydney Woods (Polter lab)
