Move-In is Almost Here!

It may be hard to imagine, but students are already starting to come back to campus and move-in begins in earnest on Wednesday, 8/16. We encourage you to take a look at CLRE’s move-in slide deck which includes many important details, but we’ve also included a calendar and graph for your reference. Numbers on the calendar in parentheses are the current number of students signed up for each day. These numbers will continue to fluctuate somewhat, but should give you an accurate sense of which days will be busiest.

Fond Farewells to Ken Crosson and Jose Pavon

In the past couple of weeks, two key contributors to the FPCM team have departed for new adventures. Jose Pavon began his GW career before the pandemic as an appliance technician and eventually became a highly respected zone manager. He leaves us for a new role with the Architect of the Capitol. Meanwhile Ken Crosson ends a long, storied 26-year career at the university. After spending most of his time in Ross Hall, Ken joined the FPCM team at a critical moment during the pandemic and helped lead Zone 4 as an Assistant Director. He’ll be retiring nearby. Take a look below at pictures from their goodbye parties.
