What is CTIPS?

CTIPS (Customized Toolkit of Information and Practical Solutions) is a fully online program designed to help family caregivers

  • Choose effective solutions to typical care issues, such as problems with bathing, safety, aggression, inactivity, and others
  • Ease their burden of care. In other words, CTIPS makes it easier for you to provide care

Features of CTIPS

Self-Paced – Complete CTIPS at your own pace. You can spend any amount of time you choose on the program each time you log on — 5 minutes to 5 hours. You can skip over content or go back to review previous material.

Interactive – Add information about your care needs and preferences to shape the content of CTIPS. This saves you time by allowing CTIPS to prioritize content to you!

Multimedia – CTIPS is not just text on a computer page. We use graphics, videos, photographs, and other media to present information effectively

Customized – In addition to basing content on information you’ve provided, we invite you to reach out at any time to brainstorm about how CTIPS can be adapted to your unique care needs.
