We aim to improve the lives of people in greater Washington area by studying the neighborhoods and communities of our region. We expand the frontier of urban research by creating and interpreting policy-relevant research focusing on real estate, the built environment, local government, and urban transportation.
We convene events on policy issues, produce research that provides policy insight, and provide data and tools to enhance policy analysis.
