Congrats to all the undergraduate and graduate student researchers who presented at GW Research Days! A special congrats to 1st and 2nd prize winners Stephanie Reda, "What is the Impact of Marijuana Legalization? Testing for Differences in Marijuana Cognitions as a Function of Marijuana Policies" and Meghan Mette, "Reasons for Not Intervening as a Bystander to Prevent Sexual Assault"!
Dr. Stephen Mitroff’s undergraduate course called “Science in the District” focuses on how cognitive psychology research plays a role in many real-world professions. Last semester FABBS (Federation of Associations in Behavioral & Brain Sciences) joined Dr. Mitroff and the students on several trips around DC and has produced a series of short videos that highlight how cognitive science can be used to benefit society.
