The Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences congratulates the following winners of funding to support their research with PBS faculty this summer:
Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowships (summer support for research)
· Cristina Cestone (with Dr. Stock) on the implications of exclusionary and inclusionary political speech
· Xavia Fields (with Dr. Rosenblau) on adolescents’ knowledge about peers’ preferences in relation to their brain activity
Undergraduate Research and Service Grants (smaller awards for research expenses)
· Rachel Keshtgar (with Dr. Sigelman) on communication between fathers and their young children during military deployments
· Saba Rentia (with Dr. Dodge) on fixed and growth mindsets about drug use and views concerning medical treatments of opioid use disorder
