Losing a Legend

Last weekend, thousands flocked to the Supreme Court to mourn and pay their respects to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who passed away the night of September 18th. Regardless of where you stand politically, there’s no doubt RBG left a ginormous impact on this country. She undoubtedly paved the way for more equal representation under the law and taught so many (especially young girls) about leadership and the ability to make spaces around us better through the power of dissent. There was a heavy feeling in DC following her passing, and that loss will be felt for a long time. As students in this area we are witnesses to so much happening at this moment in time. There can be power in reflecting on these moments together.
