Self Love is the Best Love

Grad school can be stressful. Balancing classwork with work responsibilities, trying to maintain a social life can be a little overwhelming. Be sure to factor in time throughout your week for self care. Self-care is defined as the practice of taking an active role in protecting one’s own well-being and happiness, in particular during periods of stress. This could be as simple as taking 30 minutes aside to watch an episode of your favorite Netflix show. 

Another way you can help destress and decompress is by talking.  This semester CCAS has partnered with counseling services to offer free drop in consultations for CCAS Grad students. Counseling-consultants will be located in Smith Hall Room 118 at 4 pm on the following dates:

April 27

Let’s Talk is not a substitute for formal counseling and does not constitute mental health treatment, but the counseling-consultants can listen, provide support, and introduce you to what it’s like to speak to member of the counseling staff.
